Various codes of lead

We offer various codes of lead. The system of six lead codes is a simple way of determining what type of lead flashing would best suit your roofing project.

Lead codes range from Code 3 to Code 8, depending on thickness and weight, also special order heavier codes are available at request if specified.

Each code is specifically classified for a different purpose. The most important reason for this is that for lead to function at a high-quality standard, it must be installed correctly. If the incorrect code is used, the lead can be made vulnerable to influences that will make it deteriorate rapidly, causing it to crack due to expansion and contraction

Traditional soft copper

Copper used in roofing applications is available in several levels of hardness. We offer traditional soft copper used in the roofing industry. Because of its softness, this type of copper bends and molds to various shapes with relative ease, and it can be pounded into virtually any shape.

Copper is durable; it holds up well to weathering, UV exposure, humid and dry climates, rainfall, wind, and hail. It is also fire-resistant, and unlike some materials, it does not stretch or warp because of the temperature changes between summer and winter. In addition, copper work is resistant to algae, fungi, and microbes.
